We are thrilled to announce that Elladee Brown will be MC for this year’s symposium.  She brings loads of positive energy, wit and insights to the role.  If you haven’t had the pleasure of meeting Elladee, here is her bio…

Elladee was raised in the small interior town of Nakusp, BC. She now calls North Vancouver home but continues to travel extensively through the Province. She’s been involved in the bike industry since the mid-80’s as a racer, rep, instructor, guide, advocate, explorer and writer.

A career highlight in racing was winning a silver medal at the UCI 1990 Downhill World MTB Champs in Durango, Colorado. She was an 8-time member of the Canadian National Team, and holds several National titles in downhill and cross country. As part of the early freeride movement in mountain biking, she’s explored almost every facet of the sport, in both Canada and abroad.

She continues her work in the bike industry specializing in sales, marketing, media, guiding, events and advocacy. For Elladee, participating in the Symposium is an integral part of the evolution of mountain biking in BC. In her opinion, the importance of connecting communities, and the various stakeholders, has never been greater than it is today.
